Just got done watching Great Divide video trying to learn some tips on leaning out our bikepacking setup.
I noticed nothing other than sporks for kitchen gear. Am I to assume every thing was cold and pre-cooked on an ultra endurance ride like that?
I noticed on other shorter trips you guys have stoves and small pot/cups.
Love your work.
Hey Tom, we didn’t bring a stove on our tour. I think there are enough resupply options on the divide that you can get a hot meal most days.
We typically bring a small stove on overnighters if we won’t get a resupply. It’s something to do at camp and a little extra training weight. 🙂
